World Down Syndrome Day
A general assembly was held in the school on 21st March 2018 to celebrate World Down Syndrome day. The star of the show was one of our pupils who enjoyed listening about children with Down Syndrome, browsing a photographic book and watching a video of children playing in a sensory room. This was followed by a lively question and answer session and a huge buala bos for the star of the assembly.
Úna added to the occasion by wearing odd socks - a symbol to celebrate everybody's individuality.
