June Activities

June 22, 2023

By School

Here is a snippet of some of our June activities. 5th and 6th Class were involved in a local project commemorating the events of 1848 on Slievenamon. They made fabulous thatched roof cottages and researched the events around Cloneen at the time.

3rd and 4th Class created Summer Sounds using percussion instruments. They worked really well in their groups and their compositions were very creative and true to the theme.

3rd and 4th Class have been studying Uganda. They learned about life in Uganda, Geography and History of the Country and did lots of research on various aspects of Uganda. They particularly loved learning about children and school in Uganda, gorilla trekking and safari. They then worked in groups to create books on the iPads about various aspects of Uganda.
