We are thrilled to be back to school and in particular, enjoying the recent sunshine! Since we have come back, we have been BUSY BUSY BUSY! Busy having FUN! One of our favourite things about September is harvesting our fruits and vegetables in the polytunnel and raised vegetable beds. We did this the first week we were back, and then enjoyed the produce both raw and cooked. We made soups, potato chips, beetroot crisps, rhubarb crumble and much more. Everyone was involved in the preparing, cooking and tasting. We have been picking blackberries from the hedges in school too, and of course enjoying eating them too. We have been doing lots of active, hands-on learning too. It’s been a great start to the new school year!
