On Friday, the children had a wonderful surprise when a baby lamb came to visit. The lamb, whom the páistí named “Daffodil, had just been born 24 hours previously. The children loved rubbing him and feeding him a bottle. They had lots of questions about lambing, springtime and farming. The visit was in conjunction with Agri Aware’s webinar on lamb farming which they participated in on the same day. Thank you to the Doran family for bringing their lamb in.

We had a very worthwhile visit from the Road Safety Authority today. They set up a safety village in our hall for all our classes and we learned a huge amount about how we can be safe on our roads as a pedestrian, cyclist and passenger.
