Yesterday was Sports Day in Cloneen NS. We had a fantastic day! The sun shone all day long and the children loved the games and races. We love the traditional games like Egg and Spoon and Sack Race, but the children love to come up with their own ones too! The Parents’ and Teachers’ were a big success as always.
The day was topped off by a visit from Billy’s Ice Cream Van which was certainly welcomed in the heat!
All pupils received a certificate and medal at the end of the day. Another great school memory for us all!
